I see it, it isn't flashy but its here. The city gov has basically handed our asses to the corporations on a platter. This is "Comcast Country."
Our Stadiums and parks, train stations and avenues have been renamed. Historical references and local pride have been replaced with corporate slogans and account numbers. Homelessness is rampant but there's tech everywhere. Old factories are being re-purposed for luxury lofts and god knows what in the middle of blighted neighborhoods. They used to use fake trees to hide the cell towers but have sense stopped giving a fuck. Hipsters and bicycle gangs. Violent youths attacking people in the streets.
The public school district is being dissolved in favor of a heavily online system with more standardized testing. Neighborhoods are bursting at the seams with poverty but the city is "growing." Real food costs too damn much, fake food kills you slowly. That shit in between gets labeled as "organic." I make a steady paycheck but mostly eat lunch from vending machines; people consider my pay "decent.".
I wardrive to pass the time at work. I haven't got any plugs in my head, yet, but I can feel that toxic soup flowing into me like a hypo-derm needle in my arm. Corporate bullshit getting force fed through laws I'm told I can't totally understand, but should obey. Surrounded by cops who'd either taze me or ask me stupid ass questions basically on a dice roll. Grew up in a city its getting harder to afford to live in. Go home to a dark room, lcd screens, cigs, liquor, bliss. Is it cyberpunk? Meh, I don't fucking know. But it sucks, 'cause the future ain't what it used to be.

Under Reconstruction

This Website is under reconstruction towards my migration in starting my personal final stop in second life.

after the conclusion that being a pro gamer and being obsessed withtraditional style MMOs in this day and age, nothing is out there aside from Warhammer online that will ever really satisfy my personal view of what is a good MMO. the future is bleak and MMOs are just garbage these days.
luckily, i still enjoy RP. after finding a good amount of people interested in online Roleplay in the cyberpunk variety, i've decided that i'll open up my own server,, shift my website towards it, and create an entire world for you and myself to roleplay in.
My plans are to create a dungeon master/ D20-type system that will allow "Sprawl Crawls" (get it?) and will give full tabletop RPG experiance for adventuring within the city. non adventuring players will be able to roleplay like normal, and there is no reason players should ever have to be restricted from doing both things (even at the same time).
on this website, i will be putting storyline among various things, for example respirators and goggles having a legitimate reason for being worn (ex. respirators are used by the general consensus of people with a disease that ultimately affects their respiritory systems and deforms flesh around breathing orifaces) and goggles will be worn by hacker-types. goggles will be worn as a fashion statement by "wannabe's" and respirators if used as a fashion statement can cause confusion with general public that the wearer has the disease. which is feared to be contagious (although it is not).
